I am so completely impressed with Mike and the show...I never managed to get the radio link to work until tonight (used the Listen In link at the top of the page, chose real radio to use) and while there are seconds long delays, that is no big deal.
Just some things I want to say. While many times I don't understand through ignorance of weather parlance, what is being said here on S2K, I get the gist of it (sort of like my Spanish, I don't speak fluently but I get the idea 93 percent of the time), Mike says what is pertinent in a way that ANYone with a basic knowledge of models, geography, a small amount of lingo such as shear, ridge etc. can understand exactly what he is speaking about. If anything, his callers are more into using lingor than Mike, who keeps it simple and direct with facts.
I thought it would be way over my head (my interest is much more, what is going to happen as to MY little world, rather than being an overall weather junkie) and this show has been so informative - even though the current storm under discussion will pass (is passing!) way south of me (friends down island are being impacted, other friends and family in the future days may be impacted) I am listening!
Thank you Mike. A whole new aspect of more critical knowledge, brought to me by S2K!
