The thunderstorm line seems to be retreating back north this evening so maybe high pressure is starting to build back in from the south.
Would have been nice if that dry mid west air had driven a little further south.
And i'd love, FREKIN love it if a heck of a lot of moistire would come up here to northern michigan it seems like forever sicne we have had a decent rainy month. In the last month Harbor Springs has only had 3 days with light rain that is all the rain that we have gotten in the last month. Since the beggining of the year we have not even had 1.5 i haven't looked at the actuall amount yet inches!!!! It's ticking me off WE NEED RAIN at least heavey rain at 2 inches every half hour for 2 days strait to catch up with the average. or a light rain (at 1 inch every 3 hours) for a week or a month. It might seem that we are happy with all the rain that we have had but since harbor is by the lake I mean on the shore my house is about a 15 min walk from the beach. I've heard that lake michigan suks the moistiore out of storms or something. Oh ya the last time we had a severe thunder storm that was decent (power outages, hail, trees down, ect. it was exciting lol) was in 1999 and that was the only severe thunder storm that i've been though it was cool honestly but it got so humid and it was at night it was like 92 deg. after the storm i couldn't get to sleep till like 2:00 am edt. but we need that moistier
