there was also a fairly severe Squall line this morning that gave torrential rains,hail,high winds and maybe even tornadoes.

I'm told the rain rate here as it passed through Reading was 50mm per hour, although this high rate didn't last much longer than 10minutes. Think that must have been what you are referring to KWT.
