You know I can't help thinking tha both the Gulf and the East coast have an 88% chance of getting struck by hurricane a major one at that, since Florida is located both on the Gulf and the East coast does that put Florida in a middle of a hard place?
Can someone please give me an educated guess on how Florida is going to do this year.

I want you gulf coast people to have a break
Thanks a LOT, Hurricaneman. I know it's not easy NOT to get psyched up when this time of year comes around--especially for the kinds of weather aficcionados most folks in here are; but I truly dread this season, and will actually be waiting for it to END safely, as opposed to all those anxiously awaiting it's arrival.
Perhaps another year of rebuilding, strengthening our infrastructure, and return to normality, and I'll begin to get some of that "cane fever" I once had as the season approached again.

No not anxious at all.Only I do this as part of what a moderator does and that is to provide the best information and to make this forum run as smooth as possible.

Late August?
I think we see our first storm probably in July, then towards the beginning of August through late October/Early November. Storms will form at a frantic pace. Kind of similar to 2004, with a December storm for good measure.
