From the NHC forecast, this looks like it might be cursed to be the Flying Dutchman of hurricanes. Doomed to wander the North Atlantic forever, fading in and out of existence...

I don't believe tha this storm is going to weaken. I think it will head east for the next few days then take a southward turn then back westward. I think as it makes its southward reach it might become a major!

If Epsilon doesn't get out of there fast the dry air's gonna kill it.

A close examination of sat loops does indicate that dry air is already choking the western edge. And even dryer air exists to the south.

Weakening trend should commence within the next few hours.

Look at the official track, which shows it turning southward more towards the general direction of the Bahamas...

It's in a pocket of only 20kts shear right now. Once it dives south, it will run headon into 40-50kts shear.
