that is what ive been looking at all along. here is somthing most people dont want to hear: after looking at a radar loop (http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT ... -loop.html) it seems that it could be heading in the direction of S. Florida


Yes that is because there is a strong western Atlantic Ridge right now to the north - like August. The GFS was showing the scenario a day or so ago - moving a "cutoff low" west towards FL into the GOM..

this is simply amazing for this time of year..simply amazing :eek:

That would not be a radar loop....that's water vapor imagery.

but we could have an eventual TD or TS heading our way if it slows down and gets orginized! this hurricane season is starting off veeeeeeeery early this year.

Yes, I'd like to hear what they have to say -

I think they will not preclude the possibility of a depression forming here.
