Sounds like a good idea. This is probably the only site that keeps me sane during the tropical season. Don't get paid until the first of the month though. :D

Good post, Dixie. You beat me to it. Maybe the amount paid should be commensurate with the number of posts (except for admins, of course)

Make it a pay per view site. Charge a small fee per month that would address your bills. I don't think too many people would be offended. If you rely on donations you run into some cheapskates down the line. Not all but some.

Just put my two Andys in the pot via Paypal.

Keep up the stellar work, staff and mods!

I would donate this month, but I had to put in a $15,000 dollar septic system. With that caveat, I'll donate as much as I can in the next couple of months. This place really does a great service to the Weather Community, and has more than earned ALL the support we can each give. :bday:

Yes, even $5 adds up. I figure the amount of time we spend here, we should help the cause.

This place is a wonderful home for all of us and we should all help to keep it that way.

Donate and feel proud you are a part of the Storm2k family.

Times are bad for some, but we understand, and you can wait till you are able.

Of course, it is not necessary to donate. You can still enjoy everything.

Remember, the staff has to purchase updated software, etc. and that can get expensive. And we all gain by the software used here.

I've been an S2K supporter for the past two years and even suggested last year's fundraiser. I'll donate again this year, but I don't like choosing between the label of S2K Supporter above my avatar, and my newly-achieved status as a Depression.

Can I still be a supporter and depressed? LOL. I worked hard to get depressed.
