This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

This should be surprising. This is climatologically unheard of for this time of the year. I have never seen any report of possible formation in Jan. One should consider climactic upheavals that is causing this chaos around the world.

Well, it's the only model showing anything close to it what they describe, so I'll go with it. Chances are that the development is further out than any of the public feeds will show.

Thx :-)

I wrote it only 1 day before Zeta formed ;-)

I wouldn't be surprised to see more than one storm before June 1st...

EPSILON HAS CONTINUED TO STRENGTHEN AGAINST ALL ODDS. THE CLOUD
PATTERN IS REMARKABLY WELL-ORGANIZED FOR A HURRICANE AT HIGH
LATITUDE IN DECEMBER...EMBEDDED IN A STRONG UPPER-LEVEL WESTERLY
WIND ENVIRONMENT AND MOVING OVER 21-22 DEGREE CELSIUS WATER.
SATELLITE PRESENTATION IS THE BEST SO FAR

I told you guys to look at 24C and above, sratch that...try the 21-22C and above!!! That is the advisory from Epsilon as it was strengthening!!! 21-22C could support a hurricane...crazy stuff there...
