Well..... I suppose it IS possible his perspective on things may be a bit different than many other perspectives.

This may give a little explanation (gotta love the youth!!):

Even with the occasional "unexplainable" thread and/or post, he's learning - so I guess I'll offer some slack where I can...

doesn't it WOW

do you agree

if you don't PLEASE tell me how long ago it seems to you

That can't be, can it? This is very strange because it feels like a week ago to me too. What could've caused this time warp?

Actually, lots of weirdness has been happening lately. For instance, what could've caused those peculiar cloud patterns in the south pacific whose images were posted here about a month ago? (Or was it a week ago? LOL)

Welcome to the twilight zone!

That's one of the strange cloud formations to which I was referring. There were two others along with it that looked the same way.

Actually, it was 4 days ago, even though it seems like longer. Emily made landfall early Wednesday morning, July 20th.

Those look like actiniae to me. Actiniae clouds are indeed strange. They form in shallow marine stratocumulus-topped boundary layers, and I've seen a high-res loop of one of them that showed rotation near the center where the radial spokes converged (can't remember the link).

It looked interesting. With Katrina, Rita, and Wilma the July storms have been forgotten. Time passes too quickly.
