Drudge has a little headline on his site about Dennis maybe up to 100+mph. He has link to computer model page on weatherunderground. He probably saw the ships forecast numbers. :D

If he could find any place on the internet that said 200+ that would be the link he would post.

To my untrained eye it already looks like a minimal hurricane.

Won't happen today because they're doing 3 hour fixes on Cindy.

Maybe tomorrow.

They can't possibly have ONE flight into Dennis? This is so ridiclous... both should be getting attention.

Last time I checked Hispanola and Jamaica had people living there.

Last I checked, Hispanola and Jamaica don't pay US taxes....I know that sounds crass, but, I would almost suspect with "budgets" and the such, this is the thinking by the manager big wigs that actually "run" the shop, not that of the troops on the ground (mets and pilots and such).

cheers,
loon

We do have limited resources and have an immediate threat to the CONUS.

Satellite estimates are good enough for the next 24 hours with Dennis,
then send Recon in.

Nope, its definitely not going to Florida imo. its already west of the forecast points and it looks to be heading just north of due west.
