Ok a "special marine warning" (just what I thought it was) has been issued by NWS in Charleston for coastal waters from Santee River to Edisto Beach. A severe thunderstorm was located near 11 miles south of Chas Harbor moving NE 35k. Looks to be primarily offshore and the heaviest activity will probably not affect Ladson/Summerville, unless the area near Savannah survives its treck NE all the way to Berk/Dorch counties.
