Still looks like it has a weak closed low looking at the loops, but the convection still in a plusing/waning phase.

Seems to be lacking moisture and thus the rotation is less obvious than recent days. Overall in a couple days this tiny blip could be an invest if the rotation continues and the convection persists of course. Tiny dry area ahead and then things juice up pretty good at this point.

Yeah thats quite a decent pluse as well, but of course it won't make much of a difference to the systems chances if it poofs almost as quickly...we will see, if it was near land it'd have a real chance right now.

yeah its a very small system and there some convergence but every little collapse probably disrupts it .. hence the constant pulses. if there was really large burst that would drop the pressure enough to expand the pressure gradient and increase the size of the circulation that it would have a better chance..

Yes, the dry air/SAL from yesterday, http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/3091/m8g10split4.jpg has moved west, and the trough/twave approaching from E, so moisture improving.

Don't know about the Caribbean, but looks like the ITCZ is getting active. An area in the central atlantic and one in the east central atlantic look to have some promise in the next few days. No real model support though.
