I say July 31, just north of Puerto Rico. Chancing on ex-97L slowly developing in a week or so.

Also just to prove all I am is a lucky guesser since nearly nailing Cristobal. ;)

I am sorry but I find this a rather stupid thread.
People are forecasting things that even pro mets wouldn't attempt to forecast.
I woudl like to see threads stick to facts. if there is an invest and/or something actually is in the process of forming, then people can make educated guesses as to what might happen with that particular system. But to guess dates and places when there is nothing even present yet just brings down the level of this web site, IMHO.

Based on the MJO movement I would say we start to see development again around Aug 10. CV system.

Thank goodness I didn't catch the 97L Invest bug.

July 30th, halfway between the Lesser Antilles and Africa.

I disagree and believe the numbers will either stay the same or be increased.

The numbers should not go downward, if they do they must have been expecting another 2005 or something  .

I don't think you have had any fun in a little while. This thread is like the "forecasting" a season thread that cycloneye makes for us to see who comes closes. It won't lower the level of the website; in fact it makes it higher and makes it more interesting. If you don't went to take part in it, don't read it. Thank you!
