Sorry, I'm new to this forum, but I was wondering if anyone has a loop of Hurricane Kenna making landfall in 2002, since I live on the northern edge of Banderas Bay, where Puerto Vallarta is...and I wanted to see how close it passed, since we got quite a bit of wind damage up here, and I wouldn't be surprised if we got at least 70 mph sustained winds from it...

Just looking at that picture makes me believe Katrina was the biggest and baddest storm of 2005. Beautiful big eye, unlike Wilma with its small tornadic one. Both had similar winds too.

I think those pics speak for themselves

sure she fell apart before landfall but the remnents of that 175mph power was felt along the coast in the form of surge

if she came in at 175 I'd hate to think of how much more damage there would've been and an even higher death toll

maybe a 35-40 foot surge

Loop of Tropical Storm Delta.

Stationary image of Tropical Storm Delta.

An eye feature is evident at those images so the question is will at the delta report they will upgrade to hurricane.

Katrina may have weaken from 175mph before landfall but folks did not take that chance of staying around to see if she would weaken or not
