Question for the pro-mets..... If the wave keeps an appropriate distance from the ULL to it's west, shouldn't shear remain low?

Please consider the source (TWC) before you put to much weight on what they say.

The vis continues to look impressive regarding a general broad circulation developing in the S/SE/E/NE quadrants slight hints of banding. Does anyone have a link to the Bouys in that area?

I do agree that the weather channel's tropical update is way too short. You blink and you miss it. And then there is all the countless reruns of storm stories that you got to stay up really late sometimes to even catch the tropical update. If I lived somewhere in the Pacific, then I would be interested. But, I am only interested in what could possibly affect the United States especially the Gulf Coast.

winds near key west are coming from the WSW, and further north they are coming from the SSE. Circulation?

IF** the ULL stays to the SW of the system it will help ventilate the system in the upper levels. So, YES this WILL help the system grow.

nope, that WSW wind is temporary due to a thunderstorm in the area....
