In those days they would find systems by ships. In which systems out east of the islands with out recon like tropical depression 10. In which did have 40 to 45 knot winds on quickscats might of been seens as a tropical storm.

yep, its official, from the navy 00:00 UTC update, 55 knots: 29LEPSILON.55kts-992mb-319N-506W *SIGHS* I just want the last named storm of the season to be a hurricane, that, i believe, would be a fitting end...

Yep...and ships only in shipping lanes and when they bothered to report what they went through. It was 1933. Again...bottom line...we will really never know.

An eye is forming again, may be getting stronger a bit again? At this time it can't ruled out that Delta may reach hurricane strength for a short time.
