That EURO run has better resolution that what I have bookmarked. Got active in the Carib quickly with that low moving off of columbia.

Ivan, I was in your neck of the woods today around NO...well close enough....never seen so many environmental groups....

now that I am done traveling for a few weeks I can start looking at the models more closely.

Yeah Rock, they are common these days on the beach here but great news for once today with the well shutting off. Glad to see you back!

Getting "soupy" in the Caribbean now

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
200 AM EDT FRI JUL 16 2010

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

A TROPICAL WAVE INTERACTING WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH IS PRODUCING
A LARGE BUT DISORGANIZED AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS OVER THE
CENTRAL AND SOUTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA. ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF
THIS SYSTEM...IF ANY...WILL BE SLOW TO OCCUR AS IT MOVES SLOWLY
WESTWARD...LIKELY BRINGING HEAVY RAINS TO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
AMERICA OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...10
PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.

Had a reflection of it in the BOC as an open wave. actually closes off a low this run (TD strength)
