Objective analysis of his forecasts indicates emphatically that he is NOT.

While most of his tropical forecasts are of the "watch the GOM next week for tropical trouble" variety, at times he'll be more specific.

Such as with 2004 INVEST 90L in the GOM last year, which he discussed reaching "115 knots."

It never even became a TD.
