Some Images of Severe Tropical Cyclone Thelma as she barrelled for the Northern Western Australian coastline

She was estimated to be a category 5 on Australian scale (you guys would call it a category 4)

This is Hurricane Georges at the 21 of September 1998 as it made landfall in eastern Puerto Rico as a cat 2 110 mph with higher gusts of 130 mph.By the way my avatar is the radar picture of Georges over Puerto Rico.

Does anyone live on Swan Island BTW? It went directly over it at it's peak 180 mph intensity.

I resurrected this great thread today as I went thru 165 pages down to find it. :) Let's continue to post pics and loops not only from the Atlantic Basin but from the other basins too,EPAC,WPAC,Indian Ocean,Bay of Bengal,and CPAC.
