Personal Forecast Discussion Graphics Upgrade Complete

#1 Postby DoctorHurricane2003 » Thu Aug 11, 2005 4:02 pm

I have FINALLY upgraded the forecast graphics for my discussions! Below is a before and after picture utilizing the last Hurricane Dennis discussion. It is reminded that this does not represent an actual forecast of any current tropical systems at this time.

Legend for the new forecast graphics:
Small, Black = Initial Point
Dark Green = Tropical Depression
Light Green = Tropical Storm
Blue = Category 1 Hurricane
Yellow = Category 2 Hurricane
Red = Category 3 Hurricane
Magenta = Category 4 Hurricane
White = Category 5 Hurricane

Before Graphic:

New Graphic:

The new graphics and forecast discussions will be instated beginning FRI 12.08.2005 or unless I can work out a few more bugs, then I may be able to issue one tonight.

Questions and Comments are welcome! :)

Think everyone was expecting IRENE... IMO maybe you should change the title

being that it says everywhere in the topic 'the current graphic does not represent a current tropical cyclone/threat' then no....especially when it says no where anything about Irene.
