Interesting swirl in the N.W. Caribbean

#1 Postby elysium » Tue Aug 02, 2005 10:54 pm

There is an interesting swirl about 100 miles west of Jamaica in the N.W. Caribbean. Very little convection. This is possibly a non-tropical upper-air low but i think that if it hangs around some, it might make its way to the surface.

These type systems in this region this time of the year are very prone to evolve tropically and should be checked up on from time to time for possible signs of development.

These garden variety swirls can sometimes be quite the surpriser.
