ACCWX.....latest snippet! poor Florida!

We are continuing to monitor the development of a strong tropical wave extending from 65 west and 15 north to 58 west and 23 north. It has not yet developed a center of circulation and it is being sheared from an upper level trough to the north so further development will be slow through tonight and probably early tomorrow. The shear will lessen in its path later tomorrow and especially on Sunday leading to possible intensification. We feel that there will be a developing tropical cyclone possibly near the northern Bahamas on Monday with several scenarios to go from there. An upper trough passing by to the the north may try to draw it north and to the east of Florida or the southwest Atlantic upper ridge remains strong and steers this feature to the west possibly across Florida and into the Gulf. Or it may stall and meander in the southwest Atlantic for days. It is too early to tell right now
