Hyperstorm,

My point was that during the roughly 7/31 to 8/10-20 period, CV systems will have a greater likelihood of being recurved away from North America. Anything that sneaks through would probably have to be at an unusually low latitude.

Yes, Don. I very well understand your research. Just wanted to clarify that this doesn't mean that a Cape Verde system cannot develop during that time period.

Tropical waves continue to move offshore and we'll have to continue to monitor...
