Emily On Radar

Tropical Storm Emily 's outer bands are starting to show up on radar located in the Southern Windward Islands.

Not the greatest radar image but you can see what appears to be a center of Emily in the bottom right side of the picture. Thoughts & comments welcomed.

By that satellite it appears to be a very small system.

That's because the radar is only catching the northern-most part of it... the right-most island in the southeast of that image is Barbados... the center is ~ 150 miles south-southwest of there...

Resolution of this radar not that good. You would expect a lot more rain with this tropical system. Is picking only the heaviest of the precipitation. :roll:

Emily looks good on radar. Appears to be a small eye.
