When there's no update about 15 minutes early, I get mad.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

They must REALLY get this one as right as can be - considering the recent changes, trends, bombing, etc...

Usually it concerns me when an advisory is "late".

I can't imagine the pressure the NHC is under right now.
LA, MS, AL, FL all asking "WHAT, WHEN, WHERE" repeatedly,
national media all over them, and a hurricane that won't cooperate
with tracks or intensity.

I actually feel sorry for them with this one... it is really turning out to be a monster. This one looks like its going to be real close to a cat 5 at landfall..... they have alot riding over their head. I know its their job, but no way would I want to be in their shoes right now.

I'm spoiled and get ansy if it 15 minutes to the hour and not out. On the other hand I'm even worse over discussions! But usually when they are behind there is some 'breaking news' addition or a 'novel' that give great insight

Haha! It's SO TRUE! I'm so used to getting them 15 minutes until the hour, and it's SO IRRITATING when it doesn't happen! Especially when it's TWO IN THE MORNING! [Central time.]
