This storm doesn't look perfectly symmetrical. It looks like there's not a whole lot to that west side.

This looks like a 150 mph hurricane right now.

I wonder what the T-numbers are indicating?

More importantly will be the next vortex from recon coming up within the next two hours...

It looks like Ivan to me. :eek: The cdo is perfectly round. Its just that all the banding is on the east side.

i dunno... it looks like it might even be weakening cuz the eye is getting a bit larger...

No its getting stronger. It has a round cdo. With minus 80 cloud tops. The eye is clearing out. This thing is not weaking my friend this thing is bombing.

The CDO is what really matters. The eye currently appears to be imbedded around the bright reds of the CDO, the main core of the hurricane.

The large bursts of convection to the east are from the outer feeder bands.

All in all, the next recon will tell the story...

Now people watch that eye clear. In at the same time the pressure drops 20 millibars. Ivan did something like this.

yeah and watch it miss the mountanious region and keep itself good and organized..i swear these things have a brain.
