Wednesday July 6, 2005. 3 a.m. Stennis Space Center has moved to Condition 1. Tropical Storm Cindy made landfall in southeast Louisiana area at approximately 12 a.m. this morning. The storm is forecast to move north eastward over Hancock and Harrison Counties at approximately 7am. The southern Louisiana and Mississippi Counties are under a Tropical Storm Warning; Flash Flood Warning and Tornado Warnings. SSC is currently closed and will remain closed today Wednesday July 6, 2005 and will re-open for normal operations Thursday July 7, 2005.
For daily status reports, employees should call (228) 688-3777 or check the NASA/SSC website at http://www.ssc.nasa.gov.
