Cancun, Mexico Radar

Not the best of radars, but better than nothinhg. Looks as though this agrees with the satellite pics in that maybe the center is closer to Cancun. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

I don't know how you can get that from this radar. Does it have an animation feature I don't see. I just looked at sat loops and it appears that the center is right where NHC has it and there is strong convection beginning to fire over and just East of the center.

Yup, the center is about 100mi NE of Belize City.

I will believe recon positions over poor quality Mexican radar anyday. :D

In all seriousness, recon has answered all the questions that everybody had. Now everyone can track one center :D

No they do not have looping capabilities :eek: . It was IMHO about the "possible" center being closer to Cancun :oops: . The recon & NHc have a better handle on this than I do :D
