After Arlene, Bret?

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Fri Jun 10, 2005 6:03 am

I know we all are just focused right now on Tropical Storm Arlene but not far in the future most computer models are developing a low east of the Bahamas and moving it eastward. Let see what happens. Just one thing, what an exiting hurricane season so far, and the best is yet to come!

As it normal, one model develops the system more than the others, but we should keep an eye on the next days to see if this verifies.

I'm curious. I've heard that we have a named storm in June about once every two years. When and/or has there ever been TWO named storms in June?

Well, what about 3 named storms? Yes, it happened in 1968.

By the way, this was the most active month in this season.
