Question for the Board?

Do solar flares portend bad weather? If so, what are the chances of sunspot 756, which just through off a huge solar flare effecting our weather? METS any thoughts. This sunspot has come around facing earth and nothing, but now it seems to become very active.

I'm not aware of any evidence of significant tropospheric weather effects caused by solar flares.
