Thanks for the opportunity-RADIO NHCWX

Zack and I are thankful that we had the opportunity to do the Round Table. We had fun, and are glad that we brought coverage to the Forum and others.

As for myself, in June I was listening and calling into Bob's shows with my CRAZY forecast for 2004 of 6 major hurricanes forming (I PREDICTED THAT IN DEC OF 2003, AND I THINK I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO NAILED THE NUMBER OF MAJORS EXACTLY) and my "Wacky" prediction of 2 major hurricanes hitting the US. I saw a post for volunteers for "S2K TROPICAL UPDATES". I said (KNOWING I WOULD NEVER GET THAT FAR) sure.

Well, by July 31, I was the host of THE TROPICAL ROUND TABLE! I felt proud. We considered it a "big deal" during that 100 mph storm named Alex.

I remember my first show during TD-1 and the first time Zack and I did a show when former TD-2 was entering the Gulf, and we were tracking the eyewall with Cancun Radar.

Then, starting from August 6 and ending September 26 The Shows never ended!

I remember one of the biggest days of MY LIFE, covering the landfall of one of the worst Hurricanes in 12 years. I thought, that was it. But a few bullies named Frances, Ivan and Jeanne decided to pick on the US Coast. Tropical Round Table was there.

We could not have done it without Dr. Oliver, Barometer Bob, Mike Watkins, and Zack Fradella. I also want to thank SO MANY others who were with us. From LaWXGal giving pressure updates during Charley, to Windspeed giving his imput on Charley on radar. Pebbles with hugs and Queen of Hearts, and Senor Pepr with "Aloha" and his recon reports. And all the others who helped...thank you. Hope you all join us for shows during MAJOR WINTER STORMS, when we may become the WINTER ROUND TABLE, and for Hurricane Season 2005.

THANK YOU ALL FROM RADIO NHCWX, AND THE TROPICAL ROUND TABLE

Sorry but I got to laugh at the emblem. LOL Couldn't have said it better Mike. Just Thank You for a great year Mike Watkins, Steve, Bob, and all of the listeners.

Hope there will be many more years to come.

Nevertheless, one thing I was called crazy for was predicting TWO MAJOR HURRICANES to hit the USA in 2004. We had 3.

Maybe 4. Frances may have been a major at landfall but just barely.

I have been talking about it with a few people, and they agree it sounds good. How about a WINTER ROUND TABLE? For major winter storms. I miss the cheesy 80's music, the telestrator, and the ALERT MODE music. What do you all think???
