Well, upon closer cross examination of different radars the eye is actually on the surface beneath the tilted image on the NWS radar loops. The true eye has bisected the east shore of Mobile Bay with the tilted upper portion reacting to the trough.
The end result is a bullseye on Gulf Shores, Alabama with Mobile coming a little closer to the west eyewall pass...
