Random power outages, lights have blinked about 6-8 times. At my place we have had just over 1 inch of rain. Wind picking up a little now, rain not really that bad, certainly nothing like Opal was. I was really expecting more rain and we may still get it. I guess we will know between midnight and two how bad it will be.

I was watching WKRG channel 5 and their graphic showed the eye passing directly over Baldwin County and moving off to the northeast. The forecaster for channel 5 has been very good in the past. We shall see.

if the path of Ivan jst shown on TWC is a hook, no wonder I can't catch fish. I use something that looks like this ----> J lol

Correct.

The apparent NNE was probably the top of the eyewall being blown east by interaction with the trough.

I'd say 2-3* north movement up and under Mobile Bay still. If this holds Gulf Shores east will take the hard eyewall...

If it doesn't wobble back right the west wall will go right up Mobile Bay...

Look for another pronounced east wobble to confirm the trend...

Big wobble east!

Takes Mobile out of the target.

So what does the west eye wall in Bay mean for the city of Mobile? I know it means the east (and worst) side Baldwin County and points toward Florida. But what about Mobile?

I'm in Downtown Pensacola. I'm watching the storm from a protected place.

I thought what I was seeing was Cat. 2 winds, turns out they are just Cat. 1.

We are getting the worst of the worst, Just a matter of how bad it will be.
