Something I noticed with Stephanie Abrams.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

flashflood, as bad as it is in Mobile tonight it doesn't compare to the everyday hell one can find in the south bronx. Hopefully you are in Riverdale.

city island, actually. btw, south bronx isn't as bad as you think. it's not the burbs, but the perception is a bit exaggerated.

Storm2K would really do well with a calendar featuring Meterologists, I think.

My husband avidly watches J.C. Monahan in Boston... His interest is not in the weather, but in the reporter...

Hi flashflood1998. City Island is one of my favorite places in the whole world!

For those of you unfamiliar with City Island, it is a totally magical place--you go there and you think you are on vacation somewhere--not in New York!

persepone, that's excellent! city island is definitely different, definitely very un-bronx, and for the most part, a nice place to live. we always get a nice breeze off the sound and the summer storms are pretty intense. are you from the ny area?
