What does it mean to have an "open eyewall" on one quadrant? Does it just mean that the curtain effect is more broken in one spot? Are eyewalls really vertical curtains?

Dennis,it looks pretty decent to me. All it needs is for the convection to totally wrap around to get it back to Cat 5.

irregular eyewall, open in spots, warming cloud tops.....

dont see a storm on its way to cat 5 at this time.....

would be very surprised if pressures dont start to rise soon.
