It's official now: Mandatory evacuation in Alabama

#1 Postby PrincessTiger » Tue Sep 14, 2004 8:53 am

Governor Riley has just ordered the mandatory evacuation of all coastal areas in Baldwin County, in particular Fort Morgan, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores.

"He ordered the evacuation of residents in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan, coastal resorts where thousands of vacationers already had been packing and heading out."

Just announced on radio.

Still no new info on I-65.
