New player?

I see the "WeatherNole" on a regular basis and tend to leave the details to the pros. But have a go at these links. Could the dry air digging toward the south be the "mover"? Will Ivan get close enough, soon enough?

with current wv I don't see Ivan getting that far west in the us. Now yucatan is a different story. But with a trough coming down you would expect Ivan to be picked up now, and latestest sat pics shows hardly any movement to north. If it does get into gom even if the trough leaves it behind hi pressure will build behind it and ivan would be forced back ne around the high out east, that has been eroded away

Well he has wobbled back to the west yet again. Throwing it off the NHC track again. So this trough is not really having an effect on ivan as of yet and the question will be will this trough even catch ivan.

and if you look at intellicast's IR loops the latest 16:30 update pic it's back to the north. People need to stop looking at frame by frame.. " omg it's going west " then 45 mins later it goes back the other way. That's because it's going w-nw

updates faster then the noaa loop

If you look at all the NHC movement vs. Ivans actual path, it continues to stay to the west. I know thats very obvious, but it also seems to be the point the models (thus NHC) can't seem to pin down.
