FYI: Homestead gas & Publix update

#1 Postby Canelaw99 » Thu Sep 09, 2004 4:04 pm

Hey all! I know there are some other people on this board in the Homestead, FL area or nearby. I just got back from the gas station and Publix. Publix is running extremely low on water, bread, canned goods....All the gas stations I saw on Campbell Dr. had gas though which is good. Any other questions, let me know :)

Already low? How's BJs doing? I'm going there now..gas seems to be OK so far, but food and such is still having trouble from Frances - I'd say try Winn Dixie, Walmart was empty for Frances, so I'd suggest it is quite bad there still.

Has Hector locked the doors at El Toro Taco yet? I was down there Labor day and he was still closed from the Frances threat. We had to eat at that other Mexican Rest. north about a half mile on Krome on the west side of the road and it sucked. At least the Last Chance Saloon was open, has it ever closed, so we drowned our sorrows there. And Redlands Tavern was flourishing as well.
