Death toll

#1 Postby jes » Tue Sep 07, 2004 9:39 am

Does anyone know if the death toll figures from all storms is available on-line? I just don't remember a large number of deaths from any storm. I'm particuarily interested in the cause of death ---did anyone die who stayed in their well built house and did just what they were advised to do. I know during Charlie one person died when he went outside to smoke a cigarette. I think someone else died from a heart attack. However, did anyone die because their house came down on them. I guess I would like to know how physically safe we are during a storm when we follow all precautions.
