Frances has obviously concentric eyewalls. That is probably the only thing that keeps her from attaining Cat 5 strength.
The outer eye is HUGE (2/3 of the length of Puertorico), cannot imagine a hurricane with such eye!
Difficult to say when will the inner eyewall collapse - the last time the two eyewalls fought a lenghty battle for dominance. I would not be surprised if Wednesday was again a day of battling eyewalls.
Let's hope that it will be the same at the time of landfall and not a catastrophically deepening beast that finally got her acts together!
