Better to have people excited about predicting and forecasting dangerous storms so that we all become better imformed or well prepared rather than people who don't give a flip about it and a storm shows up on your door unannouced.

I'm trying to keep a level head and stick to the facts, but with two computer models aiming Frances towards SC, it's easy to get anxious.

You are right... it is easy to get anxious. But anxiousness and hysteria are two different things entirely. You have every right to be anxious my friend.

I think you can start calling it hysteria when we make movies about hurricanes like someone did with the AC-130 Gunship like this............
