CMC model now more westerly
The 00z CMC is following the GFS with an even more westward track. It actually takes Frances into Eastern Cuba at 144 Hours. The new Ukmet will be out within a few minutes. Can't wait to see if it shifts further south and west.

The 0Z CMC (GEM) goes out to 240 hours. Check out this link and see where it goes after Cuba. Very interesting and scary. Check out my post about this in the "00z GFS" thread. http://meteocentre.com/models/gemglb_amer_00/gemglb_amer_00_panel.gif

I wonder how many times in history a system has crossed from the south-west atlantic into the carribean and into the gulf of mexico.
Can't be very many times.
