2 tropical systems within the next week? The Caribbean is starting to look very suspicious this afternoon, plus, the convection there is very persistent.

We could easily have multiple systems. The blob off the Carolinas could still develop, plus the African wave train continues. It is, afterall, the heart of the season. It would be unusual NOT to have more than one active system.

the area down there is persistant last 12 hrs, and has become a little more concentrated, see what happens tommorrow am., esp. if it moves n-nw.
