I keep telling my 11 year old son not to wish for a tornado. He is so fascinated by the weather. Now he is tracking the hurricanes wishing another will come to Maryland again. It's unbelievable how much he knows about the weather. When Charley hit Florida he called his grandfather and asked if he could go down to see the hurricane. Kids have no fear. I tell ya someday he will be predicting storms. Knows more than I do.

well, isabelle only bossted my fascination with hurricanes, as did PRII with my fascination of snow. I just love snow, and hurricanes are second. Hurricanes are so powerful, and awe inspiring, and snow is just plain cool.(no pun intended).

I also live in New Orleans and yes we must evacuate for a Cat 2. I love the power of these storms and would jsut lvoe to be in the wind but I know thats at a big price to see that. Living in New Orleans I know how it is here a Tropical Storm gives us major problems. The only way I would see this type of conditions if a big change with the track of the storm or a Opal situation the 2 things officials are worried about in SE La. I would love to see the power in person of these storms but will come at a price.

Maybe the worst price of all your life.
