listenting to live report from Port Charlotte Area

They had a couple of newspeople that went through the eye of the hurricane - damage reports are coming in with a restaurant that just sunk into the gulf, no phone, no electricity, all windows blown out of a HI Express, 25 foot sections of roofs blown off, harbor full of debris. . . . still torrential rains and Charley is moving slow. Eyewall, according to them, is beginning to disappear. Schools and hospital damaged. Roof ripping off of hospital, reports of a tornado touching down in Cape Coral. All roads and bridges are closed in the county - a $500 fine if you are caught. Estimated 15 Billion dollars in damage so far. This would make Charley 1/2 the cost of Andrew already.
