Ft. Myers area landfall....

#1 Postby Blown Away » Fri Aug 13, 2004 10:10 am

Looks to me like it is moving towards the Ft. Myers area or just north. The eye may stay south of Tampa. It still won't be fun regardless!

I'm in Cape Coral, just outside of Ft Myers ,and they are talking abouta more Southern landing too. Also, there is concern for anyone livinf within 5 miles of the Caloosahatchee River, which we do, so we may be leaving soon.

The only good thing about this storm is it is moving pretty fast. In about 6 hours conditions will improve For Aquawind.
