Larry Cosgrove picks a landfall spot

#1 Postby Winnipesaukee » Thu Aug 12, 2004 7:00 pm

He says dry air entrenchment is not the cause of the current sloppiness in the storms appearance and that his landfall location of choice is Cedar Key around sunset on Saturday.

I'd be surprised if it got that north before turning into the peninsula. Given the digging in of the troff, I suspect that Charley will start to veer more northeastward just north of the Keys.

Location: Galveston, oh Galveston (And yeah, it's a barrier island. Wanna make something of it?)

I'd go to Ceder Key, but not for a CAT 3
Met Mark Sudduth there last year for storm that never happened.

That's because that's where he posts his discussions. Don't worry, S2K will forgive you for briefly reading words someplace else if you come right back. 8-) :P
