Carolina Coast

What are your feelings about the South Carolina coast. Will Charley move over Florida and back into South Carolina. I live along the coast but will be in the upstate tomorrow through Sunday. Should I cancel my trip? Will there be more rain than wind?

I don't think I'd cancel. Heck there might be lots of folks joining you, if Charley does get back over the Atlantic.

I'd suggest waiting until this evening's updates before heading for the store for milk and bread. Charley is ahead of the curve, strength-wise, but he's also south and west of where he was when the Carolina landing scneario picked up steam. He could well stay west, never seeing the revival of Atlantic water...or he could do just what the GFDL says.
