06z Models coming into better agreement-LOOK OUT T.B./Keys

#1 Postby USAwx1 » Wed Aug 11, 2004 4:45 am

Charley is still moving quickly, however the CDO is looking very impressive on morning IR imagery, and outflow VERY impressive in all Quads w/ T numbers still ~3.5

06z WED tropical/models are coming into relative agreement w/ 0z WED operational GFS which takes Charley VERY close to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.

I have few changes on my landfall thoughts from yesterday evening which is anywhere between steinhatchee FL and Marco Island.

In the mean time look out in the western and central Keys, and SW FL.

Bonnie is intensifying and not moving very fast so she may be a player in the steering.
