Hmm.... I wonder why they got rid of 90L. It is showing more convection. Well, great update as usual. Are you going to do the thingy like last year where you say August 1 brought to you by the letter A, and say the starting date of the A storm and storms active on August first? That was great last year, and we need it back!

There seems to be a connection by a trough or something between 90L and Alex. As is clearly visible in all types of images there is a line of convection stretching from Alex through central Florida to 90L or former 90L. Maybe in someway Alex is trying to feed or help 90L. Let see what happens but it shouldn't be forgetted that if this trend continues with 90L we may see something more organized develop in the next 24 to 36 hours.

Ahh... I was planning on doing that, but the lack of sleep lately let it slip my mind. Stand by for it...
